The Grey List

RULES

• This list is for PHP Freelancers only.
• The purpose here is to tag a potential or existing client as a grey list client when they have suspicious or odd behavior, or are known to be a jerk. This helps PHP Freelancers delineate the scam artists, nuts, and jerks out of the mix of good clients that send us proposals by email.
• Note this is not a black list. A black list means avoid a client altogether, but a grey list means proceed with caution. Just note that a grey list client may deem needing to be a definite black list client, but every situation is different, and clients change attitudes, so that's why we stuck with just a grey list.
  
• All comments are moderated by the blog owner, and only anonymous posts will be approved, if they are approved at all. Do not post with your Google ID, Open ID, or anyway to track who you are.
  
• There is no blog owner -- it's anonymous, and he uses an anonymous IP connection to get here to cover his tracks. You may think you know who the blog owner is, or maybe the friend who referred you, but you'd be wrong.
  
• If you're a client and you luck out and find this site, you can post an anonymous response and we will consider it. Any lawyer talk, however, and we'll automatically ignore your post.
  
• If you think a client is way too frugal on a proposal, that's somewhat relative and we'll need a few other factors to be submitted before we agree to post this listing.
• Just comment on the blog article called The Grey List to send in your grey list clients.
• This list may be spread only with other PHP Freelancers whom you know on a first name basis and whom you trust, and they may share it by this means as well.
